To my surprise each sand sample looked different: The colour of the sand ranged from light white over yellowish to black. The form ranged from smallest grains over rougher grains to smaller little stones. Even on one single island the sand differs from bay to bay. Sand occurs thus in completely different forms, but our intuition identifies each form as sand. The same substance in different forms and shapes! Or take the different colours of the light spectrum as different religions or worldviews like Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Taoism, atheism, esotericism. They symbolize the different perspectives of the viewer. As a simplification Christianity is more anchored in the western world and Buddhism more in the eastern world.
